So far, I’ve spent two days on this drawing. The first day, I got to do the tail and the bodice before the headset started to feel really uncomfortable. I think the upgraded rigid version of the head strap for the Quest2 might be worth the investment. I also tried the headset with my contact lenses. As expected, it felt way more comfortable. It was kind of a necessity as I sadly scratched my brand new glasses – I am fairly certain it got scratched by the glasses extender on the Oculus….oh, the irony is not lost on me.
Today, I drew the arms, head and the clam. It’s definitely a work in progress as I find it quite hard to draw a realistic face in 3D. I might try drawing the face separately and then pasting it on…it might also help to sketch it on paper first and then recreate in 3D. It’s been fun seeing it progress though. There are so many possibilities with the environment and I am really looking forward to seeing it come to life.
So long and thanks for all the fish…
