Dracarys…Tilt Brush Art

This was a product of about three or four different days.

The thing is, it’s hard to say when you are done with a piece. I just kept going, adding details, adding brushstrokes until I realized that I could get trapped in the creative process indefinitely. I was getting worried that the more I added, the more it started to take away from what I was going for.

I have some ideas on how to build up on this piece like adding a tail and possibly some wings while the body is submerged in smoke. But right now, I need a break and see what comes of it once I return with fresh eyes.

In the meantime, I wish more people had a chance to check it out in VR. Walk around it. Take the size in. It is just so much more impressive when you are immersed in the piece. I hope some will get to do that through the Poly website while it’s still around but for the time being, you will live in my white VR headset you sweet intimidating beast
